First, you should determine whether it is caused by mechanical or electrical reasons.
The method is: connect the power supply, if there is abnormal sound, cut off the power supply, and the abnormal sound still exists, it is a mechanical failure; otherwise, it is an electrical failure.
1 Abnormal noise caused by mechanical failure
When an agricultural motor is running normally, the mechanical noise should be a small "rustling" sound, with no sudden high or low changes, and no metal friction sound, which is the sound of the normal operation of the bearing. Common abnormal sounds caused by mechanical failures include the following:
1). The "sizzling" sound is the sound of metal friction? The smoke is usually caused by dry wear of the bearing due to lack of oil. The bearing should be disassembled and lubricated.
2). The "crunching" sound is the sound produced by the irregular movement of the rollers in the bearing. It is related to the clearance of the bearing and the state of the grease. If the motor only has this sound and no other abnormal phenomena, and the sound disappears immediately after adding grease, it is not a fault and the motor can still be used.
3). The "chirping" sound is the sound produced when rollers or balls are running. If there is no other noise, and the sound is significantly reduced after adding grease, If it is small or disappears, it is generally not a fault and the motor can continue to run.
4). There are two possibilities for the "dong dong" sound. One is that when the motor suddenly starts, stops, reverse braking and other speed changes, the acceleration torque causes the rotor core to Caused by the loose fit of the shaft. The second is the sound from the transmission mechanism, which may be caused by looseness between the coupling or pulley and the shaft, or wear of the key or keyway.
5). The "chacha" sound is the noise caused by the motor sweeping the chamber.
6). The periodic "snap" sound is caused by the unevenness of the belt joint.
2 Abnormal noise caused by electrical failure
1). The thick "buzzing" sound and the howling like a cow are mainly caused by the imbalance of current, because when the current is unbalanced, load-related noise will occur. Electromagnetic noise at twice the power frequency is the main cause of agricultural motor burnout. In this case, the machine should be shut down immediately and put into operation again after troubleshooting.
2). "His" or "crackling" discharge sound When the stator winding has slight poor contact or leakage, a slight "hissing" discharge sound will occur. In severe cases, " "Crackling" discharge sound.
3). Mosquito noise The ends of the stator winding are not tightly tied or impregnated with paint. The ends of the entire stator winding do not form a solid whole. Individual wires are under the action of electromagnetic force. Caused by jitter.
4). There is a metal impact sound during starting, stopping and load changes. This is generally caused by loosening of the stator and rotor cores.
5). Irregular frog calls Caused by air gaps or looseness inside the iron core.
6). Metal shaking sound The iron sheet at the end of the stator opens, and the opened silicon steel sheet vibrates to produce a metal shaking sound.
